these are some icons I created for voto latino. My goal was to appeal to the young latina audience// lately my colors of choice in both attire and design have been black purple gold and turquoise with a 90's influence.

So i finished my portfolio today!! finally!! Since my work is done i will be updating my website next week so stay tuned :)
These are some posters i designed for the Spanish/French Artist Manu Chao i wanted to put a piece in my Portfolio that was in Spanish. The reason I chose this artist, is not only the fact that i love his music but also because i thought it would demonstrate my versatility in design since most of my work isn't this colorful.

last night i got the urge to totally remodel my pg.. i just wasn't satisfied i wanted a m0re simple version and less girlie :) i also wanted it to appeal to a magazine employer so i experimented with the typography and let that be a major part of the design :)
so here are the results tell me what you think??
i still need to do some changes on the portfolio pg. but my comp is too slow to let me so i guess i'll do it tomorrow at school. bye!!

so here's a font i made for my advanced type class. i got really frustrated with it and made another one for the second half of the class...which is why it's incomplete. Unfortunately, my second font didn't come out as good so I regretted my choice, I'll try to make the lower case so its complete and ill post them up later for you to see ♥
any suggestions on the name for this font??? oh and feel free to critique this font since its not yet completed, & if it helps... i created the rest of the letters based on the letter b ;)

This is an old project i just remembed i had. So here i am showing off my illustrator skills. i had to recreate an existing photo in illustrator. came out pretty good id say :) i later updated the illustration as an ad.
we had to make a beer label for my final in Advanced Illustrator and i decided to make a statement in the process.
i made this as an invitation for our spring portfolio review but it wasnt chosen =/ it musta been too cool for them.

I did this in high school. I like depicting roses. I like to referense roses to my last name. My last name is Spanish and it translates as a description of something that has a lot of thorns...e.i. roses.
Anywho, the image is actually bigger i just couldnt scan the whole thing and i lost my camera recently so i guess you have to settle for this..

the second 2 apply to child abuse more than they do to child prostitution in specific.

The theme was designing your future so i figured i would incorporte design utencils/elements with the growth of a flower to signify self growth in an art related field and hense your future in that field.
