Watercolored Essence

I did this in high school. I like depicting roses. I like to referense roses to my last name. My last name is Spanish and it translates as a description of something that has a lot of thorns...e.i. roses.


Anywho, the image is actually bigger i just couldnt scan the whole thing and i lost my camera recently so i guess you have to settle for this..

This painting was inspired by the works of two of my favorite painters; Edgar Degas and MissVan. I also tried to recreate one of my favorite art movements Impressionism.

My favorite part of this painting is deffinately the texture!!!!!! Love it!

I love ballerinas so i like illustrating them the most......I took ballet classes when i was little but my mom took me out because she was too broke. I later retook some in college but by that time i was pretty uncordinated :(
