Time for Change <3

Hello Friends. I guess Danni made me feel really guilty about not posting in a while because here is another post for today! So this is old news but I guess It's a good excuse to post but I've re vamped some of my marketing collateral including my website and Pdf Sample Sheet. So behold the changes:

New:

Old

New:

Overall I just wanted to simply everything and make it more sophisticated. I still like the grays in my branding but for the site i wanted to mix it up and add more inviting colors like that beige, browns and a lovely tinted teal. I'm also in the process of changing my logo – I'm still keeping my rose but I just want a change in typography – something less uptight :) Once that is decided you will be seeing some new stamps and business cards!

Antiques Website

Hey all! So I know I haven't posted in a while, so I decided to post a website I designed while at The Buddy Group. This was a low budget project so I wasn't able to get into it as much as I would have liked. However, I still managed to make a sophisticated design through color and typography :)

Hollywood Monument

Part two of my last blog... so I decided to make a Hollywood Monument as well–which is what you see when you enter the city (like those cement blocks that say city of whatever)

I really like it when I see typography as a statue or a major design element in real life, and I'm also really into 3d Type. Concept wise this is an extension of the Hollywood sign on the hills, and what better color to describe Hollywood than a neon pink?!

Hollywood Signs

So I've been applying to jobs. and One post required environmental design in my Portfolio and since I really dislike my projects from my Environmental Design class I went ahead and re-Designed one of them... There was more I had done for my class assignment including a monument and two other signs for my city of choice. However, this is all I did so far. I wonder if this is enough?? I might re-design my Chanel Museum Environmental Design Project??? hmm...

I really dig this company's feminist and Cruelty Free Philosophies check them out at: www.urbandecay.com. This is the first project where I got to do some designing (Main Image for the Websie):

I started working on some banners today hopefully I'll have some to show you all.

This time around my client wanted to ditch the beach vintage look and just wanted something that is simply 70's–ish vintage a little art nouveau–ish... and for a third tag he wanted me to just go 80's.......

experiments with Light

So as you know, my friends and I started a new blog where we post work we've done with the help of tutorials and one project every week.

check out our blog: Design-Friends

I love Magazine Layout and the lighting effects have been popular for the past year but lately I've really had the time to learn and experiment with this style.

Hense, is my 1st experiments with tutorials & 1st Project Inspired by Lupe Fiasco's Album Cover The Cool:

HTML Templates

So these two weeks I've been light at work, since i finished two sites (one of which I have yet to post cuz it hasn't launched but will so soon)

Anywho during these two weeks I've been working on some HTML template sites for work.
I couldn't pick a layout so i made two:

This has also been a learning experience, as far as html capabilities for design and learning what generic features you will find on a website and how those could be editable and expandible.

Have a good one!

HardieFloor

Hi all I've realized I have neglected my blog so i will try to change that and that will be my goal for this summer!

For now i leave you with a website i designed which has recently launched:

Hardie Floor

As a new Web Designers i have learned a lot with this project- from working with client edits, design, to flash animation! It's not quite my style a little too clean for me but it was a conservative client. Hopefully ill get into hipper sites in the future. For now i will work on creating my own projects that satisfy my design style. Stay Tuned

much love,

Racing Game

So this is the first project i was assigned to be in charge of design and concept. its not a real client or real project// this banner was designed as an example for a concept TBG is trying to sell

So i was the one that designed the layout. The graphics(cars and track & field) in the video game were designed with the help of one of my co workers.

Working for Old Navy

i helped concept out the Spring 08 Sneak Peak campaign with my team and i was incharge of designing the two banners in this page check it out:

voto latino

these are some icons I created for voto latino. My goal was to appeal to the young latina audience// lately my colors of choice in both attire and design have been black purple gold and turquoise with a 90's influence.

These are available here for your use!
